Creating A Dream Board

In order to help you stay focused on creating your dream life and who you are becoming, I recommend creating a dream board, it's also called a vision board. You can make a digital version or a tangible physical version. I prefer the tangible physical version myself. This gives me the flexibility to easily add or change it as I accomplish things or find more things that are relevant to my path.

Creating a physical Dream Board:

Supplies:

  • Board of some sort- (I use a cute magnetic board from Petal Lane) a cork bulletin board, french ribbon board, or even a poster board or foam core board is fine. (You can find lots of options on Amazon like this one)
  • Computer
  • Color printer
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick, magnets, or thumbtacks depending on board type.

Directions:

  • Use Google or Pinterest and find images for each area of the dream life that you sketched out.
  • Print out those images.
  • Cut them out and put them on your board.
  • Make sure to include not only images but phrases that support your dream life, such as your dream foundation word, or your mantra, or a phrase that the next level you need to think. Also, include photos of the experiences that you want to have in your life.

Creating a digital dream board:

Supplies:

  • Computer
  • Photo editing or collage making software (Free Canva account works well)

 Directions:

  • Use Google or Pinterest and find images for each area of the dream life that you sketched out.
  • Right-click and save the images to your download folder.
  • In your editing software open the images (If using Canva you have to upload each image).
  • Create a document that is the same size as the device you will use daily to see it (Google the display size of your device, phone, display size for your laptop, or iPad.) It should be a device you see every day.
  • Create a collage of the photos.
  • Add text, your dream foundation word & quotes that inspire
  • Save the collaged image.
  • Set it as your desktop, or phone lock screen, or iPad screen.
  • You can also print out your digital version and keep it somewhere you will see every day, such as a journal that you use daily.

Remember it's important to keep your dream board in a place that you will see it daily. Don't be afraid to add things as you go along achieving your goals. This is a super fun project to do with a girlfriend or with your kids.  I recommend doing a refresh on your dream board at least yearly.

Post a pic of your dream board in the Facebook Group.   Not a member of the free group? Just click that link above and request to join.

I can't wait to see your board.
